Large scale light boxes for presentation are just beautiful and make a strong reference to advertising billboards/historical paintings.
All his work makes some kind of reference, whether it be to literature, art history, pop culture, real memories etc. All of it is staged, or re-enacted, which allows Wall to prefectly create the image as he imagined it without the hindrances of on the spot documentation of real events.
